Key Account Manager
Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Salary: up to £35,000 DOE
We're recruiting on behalf of an established business within the engineering and manufacturing sector for an experienced Key Account Manager to join their growing commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building long-term client relationships, managing key customer accounts, and driving business growth within a technical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a portfolio of key customer accounts.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, acting as their main point of contact.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and maximize revenue.
- Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms where required.
- Liaise closely with internal departments, including production, procurement, and customer service, to ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively resolve any issues.
- Produce account reports, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, or Business Development role.
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, electronics, or a technical industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially minded with a customer-focused approach.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts.
- Full UK driving licence is desirable.
