Key Account Manager
Key Account Manager – Type Renewal Specialists

**The Role”
We’re seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to drive renewals and upselling for our existing enterprise customers. You’ll work strategically, with a data-driven approach to grow key relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborate with enterprise clients across assigned territories to assess their needs and align Monotype’s solutions with their strategic goals.
- Become a subject matter expert in Monotype product offerings (type and technology) to consult high-value accounts effectively.
- Negotiate and close strategic renewal deals while meeting personal sales quotas and objectives.
- Develop detailed account plans outlining renewal and upsell opportunities.
- Actively upsell and cross-sell additional font, licensing, and technology solutions to enable long-term engagement.
- Review all purchase orders and contracts to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Maintain up-to-date account and contact information—including prospects—in CRM databases (Salesforce preferred but not mandatory).
- Engage at C-level and cross-functional teams across Brand, Marketing, Creative, IT, Finance, Procurement, UX, and Legal to articulate value.
- Partner with Marketing, Finance, Technical Support, and Sales Representatives to align on strategic renewal plans.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a results-driven Key Account Manager with:
- Proven success in hitting/exceeding sales quotas, demonstrating a track record in high-value account management.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication—plus the agility to build strong networking relationships.
- Inquisitive, proactive, and eager to grow your skillset; we thrive on knowledge-sharing.
- Collaborative mindset—leverage internal/external resources to deliver complex solutions and empower cross-functional partners for success.
- Industry experience preferred in software, technology, publishing, media, advertising, or design markets (familiarity with font-based solutions advantageous).
- Expertise in managing multi-stage deals, from initial demo, negotiation, to contract signing.
- Experience with Salesforce (a significant asset) and fast adaptability to new systems/tools.
- Print media, graphic design, or branding background—MembersPlus is particularly beneficial.
