Key Account Manager

At Beagle Aircraft, we're proud to manufacture precision-engineered components for some of the world's leading aerospace programmes. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Key Account Manager with a manufacturing or aerospace background to join our Commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become the trusted commercial partner for some of our most important customers, working at the center of Engineering, Operations and Business Development to deliver outstanding customer service while supporting the continued growth of our business.
The Role
Working closely with the Head of Business Development, you'll manage a portfolio of key customer accounts, acting as the primary commercial interface between our customers and the business. This role is ideal for someone who understands manufacturing, enjoys building long-term customer relationships and thrives in a fast-paced engineering environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered successfully while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and strengthen customer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with key aerospace and manufacturing customers.
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Prepare quotations, support pricing activities, contract reviews and commercial negotiations.
- Monitor orderbooks, delivery performance and customer priorities to ensure successful programme delivery.
- Work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Procurement and Supply Chain teams to resolve technical and commercial challenges.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts and maximise long-term profitability.
- Produce regular commercial reports, forecasts and account performance updates for senior management.
- Host customer visits and attend customer sites to strengthen relationships and support business development.
About You
This role requires previous experience within an engineering, manufacturing or aerospace environment. We're looking for someone who understands how manufacturing businesses operate and can confidently build relationships with both customers and internal technical teams. You'll ideally have:

- Essential: Previous Key Account Management, Commercial or Customer Account Management experience within aerospace, manufacturing, engineering or precision engineering.
- A strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering environments and production planning.
- Experience managing customer relationships, quotations, pricing, contracts and commercial negotiations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the confidence to engage with customers and senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities to increase revenue and customer value.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- A proactive, organised and customer-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
