Key Account Manager for Covering the North of England to the Midlands

Selling solutions involving CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, Video Management Systems, and wider integrated security platforms.

A great opportunity for a driven security professional looking to join a leading integrator's sales team with strong growth plans. £50-55k basic plus car, open 20k OTE Negotiable with benefits package.

About Our Client

Our client is a leading integrated security solutions provider. We are recruiting an experienced and commercially focused Key Account Manager to join its growing sales team. This is a strategic account management role responsible for developing and expanding relationships with key clients across the North and Midlands, with a particular focus on healthcare and education environments.

The Role

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders across healthcare and education organisations.
  • Act as the trusted advisor and main point of contact for strategic accounts.
  • Understand customer challenges, operational requirements, and future objectives to deliver tailored security solutions.
  • Identify and secure opportunities for system upgrades, service contracts, and additional integrated technologies.
  • Promote a consultative approach to solutions involving CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, Video Management Systems, and wider integrated security platforms.
  • Prepare and present proposals, account reviews, and strategic development plans.
  • Work closely with engineering, project management, and service teams to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate account plans, forecasts, and pipeline activity through CRM systems.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets, growth objectives, and customer retention KPIs.

The Person

  • Proven success in Account Management, Business Development, or Sales within the electronic security industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of integrated security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Detection, and associated technologies.
  • Experience managing large or multi-site customer accounts.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, from site management through to senior decision-makers.
  • Commercially astute with a strong track record of growing existing accounts and delivering revenue targets.
  • Experience within healthcare, NHS, education, university, or public sector environments would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
