Key Account Manager

# Therapeutic Specialist – Liver Diseases (Commercial & Scientific)

About the Role

We’re seeking a commercially astute and scientifically credible Therapeutic Specialist to strengthen our leading biopharmaceutical company’s Liver team, focusing on portfolio growth via strategic customer engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven territory management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Building: Develop high-value relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key decision-makers across liver disease specialities.
  • Engagement Execution: Deliver omnichannel engagement initiatives tailored to liver disease areas, including Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) and Hepatitis D Virus (HDV).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Medical, Market Access, and Marketing teams to align on evidence-based strategies.
  • Data-Driven Account Planning: Craft and execute insight-driven territory plans with measurable business outcomes—ensuring compliance and integrity at all times.

Requirements

  • Proven Expertise: Hospital/specialty pharmaceutical sales background, with a strong portfolio of commercial account management and territory planning.
  • Mindset & Credibility: Balanced commercial acumen with scientific credibility, reflecting the demands of the field.
  • Autonomy & Pace: Comfortable working independently in a high-paced environment, driving impact with minimal supervision.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Essential Certification: ABPI compliance qualification mandatory.
  • Preferred Specialisation: Liver disease experience (PBC/HDV) a distinct advantage.
