Do you have experience managing premium drinks accounts within luxury retail or specialist merchants?

Comfortable operating across high-end wine and spirits categories with credibility in front of discerning customers?

Looking to join a premium drinks business with a strong reputation for quality, heritage, and craftsmanship?

We are partnering with a premium Wine & Spirits producer on the search for a Key Account Manager, within the premium Off Trade channel. This is a permanent role based in London.

This opportunity will focus on developing commercial partnerships across the UK’s luxury retail and specialist drinks landscape, driving growth across premium wine and spirits portfolios within some of the market’s most influential retail environments.

The successful candidate will combine strong commercial capability with genuine category passion, particularly within premium spirits and specialist retail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of luxury retail, specialist merchant, and premium drinks accounts
  • Develop long-term commercial relationships with buyers, category teams, and retail stakeholders
  • Drive distribution, visibility, and promotional activity across premium wine and spirits portfolios
  • Identify new business opportunities within specialist and luxury retail channels
  • Lead customer planning, commercial proposals, and annual negotiations
  • Deliver engaging tastings, training sessions, and customer events to build advocacy and awareness
  • Collaborate closely with brand and marketing teams to execute premium retail activations
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience managing premium drinks accounts within luxury retail, specialist merchants, or fine wine & spirits channels
  • Strong understanding of premium beverage categories, with Dark spirits knowledge highly advantageous
  • Proven ability to build relationships within high-end retail and specialist environments
  • Commercially strong with experience managing customer plans, negotiations, and growth targets
  • Confident presenting to customers and representing premium brands in market
  • WSET qualifications advantageous but not essential
  • Organised, relationship-led, and comfortable operating autonomously
