Key Account Manager – On Trade

Do you have strong experience across On-Trade across the South & South West? Have you worked with spirits or drinks brands, driving visibility and activation in-market? Are you confident managing key accounts and building influence across both Independent Free Trade (IFT) and group operators?

MacGregor Black is partnering with a global spirits distributor with a market-leading portfolio, seeking a Key Account Manager to join their On-Trade team in Bristol or Bath, covering the South. This is a permanent role, focused on driving distribution, visibility, and brand engagement across Premium & Influencer IFT venues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account plans across key On-Trade customers, driving distribution and rate of sale
  • Build and manage relationships with influential venues across On-Trade, IFT, and managed groups
  • Deliver brand activations, including:
    • Signature serves
    • Menu placements
    • In-venue experiences
  • Identify new business opportunities and unlock growth within existing accounts
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure consistent, high-quality execution across your territory
  • Maintain strong visibility in the trade, including attending events, tastings, and customer activations
  • Track performance, customer activity, and opportunities through CRM and reporting tools

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
