Key Account Manager – On Trade
Do you have strong experience across On-Trade across the South & South West? Have you worked with spirits or drinks brands, driving visibility and activation in-market? Are you confident managing key accounts and building influence across both Independent Free Trade (IFT) and group operators?
MacGregor Black is partnering with a global spirits distributor with a market-leading portfolio, seeking a Key Account Manager to join their On-Trade team in Bristol or Bath, covering the South. This is a permanent role, focused on driving distribution, visibility, and brand engagement across Premium & Influencer IFT venues.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute account plans across key On-Trade customers, driving distribution and rate of sale
- Build and manage relationships with influential venues across On-Trade, IFT, and managed groups
- Deliver brand activations, including:
- Signature serves
- Menu placements
- In-venue experiences
- Identify new business opportunities and unlock growth within existing accounts
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure consistent, high-quality execution across your territory
- Maintain strong visibility in the trade, including attending events, tastings, and customer activations
- Track performance, customer activity, and opportunities through CRM and reporting tools

Requirements
- Proven experience in the South West / Southern UK On-Trade, particularly across Premium and Independent Free Trade
- Background in spirits or premium drinks, with a strong understanding of brand building in On-Trade
- Ability to manage key accounts and influence decision-makers within hospitality
- Strong network across the region’s venues, bartenders, and operators
- Commercially driven, balancing brand-building with results delivery
- Highly personable, credible, and customer-facing
- Organised and proactive, capable of handling a dynamic territory
- Full, Clean UK Driving License is a mandatory requirement

Salary & Benefits Package
- Base salary up to £45k
