Key Account Manager
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Key Account Manager based in United Kingdom.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven pharmaceutical professional to lead strategic customer engagement within a specialized therapeutic area. You will play a key role in expanding market access, strengthening relationships with healthcare stakeholders, and supporting better outcomes for patients. Working in a highly collaborative environment, you will partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute tailored account strategies aligned with business objectives. The role combines strategic planning, data-driven decision-making, and customer-focused execution across key healthcare accounts. Success in this position requires strong knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem, excellent relationship management skills, and a passion for delivering value to both customers and patients. Accountabilities
- Achieve sales objectives across assigned key accounts and therapeutic areas by executing effective territory and customer engagement strategies.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans aligned with broader commercial objectives and market priorities.
- Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with healthcare professionals, decision-makers, and other key stakeholders within the healthcare system.
- Analyze patient pathways and identify opportunities to improve access to treatments, remove barriers, and enhance patient outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with Medical, Market Access, and other cross-functional teams to deliver integrated customer solutions.
- Leverage CRM platforms, business dashboards, and data insights to optimize account planning and commercial performance.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards while supporting omnichannel engagement initiatives.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, medical, pharmaceutical, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven success as a Sales Representative, Key Account Manager, or in a similar customer-facing commercial role.
- Strong understanding of the local healthcare system, reimbursement environment, and stakeholder landscape.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic account plans and achieve ambitious sales targets.
- Customer-centric mindset with strong commercial acumen and excellent relationship-building abilities.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in Spanish and a good command of English.
- Strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and proficiency with CRM systems and data-driven sales management.
