Key Account Manager - Crewe/Stockport

Key Account Manager (covering the Crewe and Stockport area)

This role is offered on a hybrid basis, which involves a combination of working field-based, visiting customer sites/our offices, and also remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Here is more about what you will be doing...

  • On-site activities: Spending part of your time "on the road" as the key point of contact for our customers covering the Crewe and Stockport region (CW / SK Postcode).
  • Customer engagement: Working closely with these customers, incorporating:
    • Identifying their challenges to provide top-class solutions, taking your portfolio to the next level.
    • Identifying and targeting revenue potential within your portfolio.
  • Strategic planning: Producing robust business plans that exceed sales and profit targets.
  • Market analysis: Building a detailed understanding of customers, markets, and competitors.
  • Record management: Maintaining accurate customer records.
  • Cross-team collaboration: Building coalitions across the business to support the delivery of sales targets, including with internal account managers.

Requirements

What existing skills and experience will you need to be successful in this opportunity?

Technical Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a field-based sales role with account management responsibilities.
  • Exposure to working to KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and targets.
  • Salesforce CRM or B2B experience (preferable but not essential).

Attitudinal and Behavioral

  • Open-minded and willing to embrace change.
  • Solution-led approach to work.
  • Strategic thinking and planning ability.
  • Excellent relationship-building capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Logistics

  • Driving licence is essential.
