About JONEX Global (JG)
JONEX Global (JG) is a fast-growing boutique strategy consulting firm specializing in cross-border market entry and business expansion within Manufacturing. We work and partner with some of the largest, most technologically advanced & high-growth international engineering, manufacturing, and industrial firms/OEMs across several industries on areas such as global strategy, business development, automation, manufacturing efficiency, product development, and industrial technology adoption.
As we enter our next phase of growth, we are looking for an ambitious, technically minded Key Account Manager – Electronics and Industrial, to drive growth for our client portfolio, win new clients for JG, and eventually build out our regional business development team.
The Role
This is a dynamic, high-visibility role with a dual commercial focus, blending hands-on business development with client delivery:
- Client Growth & Delivery (70%)
You will act as a trusted commercial partner for JG’s clients, actively driving and expanding their sales pipeline into Tier 1 and Tier 2 OEMs across the UK and Europe. - JG Business Development (30%)
You will act as an individual contributor hunting for, pitching, and working alongside the JG team, securing new Western-based prospect logos.
Leadership Path: For an ambitious professional, this role offers a direct and rapid path to a functional leadership position.
Key Responsibilities
- OEM Account Growth (For JG Clients)
Manage key global client accounts and drive their commercial expansion by identifying, positioning, and securing design wins and high-value contracts within Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineering, manufacturing, and industrial OEMs in the UK and EU. - New Logo Acquisition (For JG)
Proactively target, pitch, and close new business opportunities with Western-based prospect companies looking to expand their global reach, managing the complete sales cycle to secure them as new clients. - OEM Relationship Cultivation
Establish and maintain strong, consultative relationships with key decision-makers (engineering, procurement, and product management) at European OEMs, particularly in Germany and broader Europe. - Technical Solution Selling & Strategy
Understand complex technical requirements (specifically within mechanical/electrical engineering and interconnect technologies) and effectively position both our clients' technical solutions and JG's strategic consulting services. - Team Expansion & Leadership
Demonstrate the ambition, drive, and strategic mindset necessary to transition from an individual contributor to a team leader role in the near future. - Remote & Travel Management
Work autonomously from a home office while managing a regular travel schedule to meet clients, attend industry expos, and visit partner facilities across the UK, Europe, and Japan.

What We Are Looking For
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Electronics Engineering highly preferred. Other relevant Engineering degrees acceptable subject to technical or target sector experience.
- Proven experience in Sales or Business Development within either Electrical/Electronics Manufacturing, Robotics, Industrial Automation, Med-Tech, Consumer Goods, or Transportation(ex-Automotive).
- Good understanding of Electrical connectors/Interconnect technologies and their usage in industrial applications.
- Demonstrated success in expanding market share and achieving revenue targets in the UK & Europe.
- Emotionally intelligent, exceptional communicator, negotiator & relationship-builder.
- Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working remotely in a highly accomplished and talented small team while maintaining high productivity.
- Clear leadership qualities with the ambition, communication skills, and strategic mindset required to eventually build, mentor, and scale a team.
- Able to travel within the UK and internationally as required.
- Must hold a valid UK/EU Driving License.
- Must be resident and authorized to live and work in the UK.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Deep knowledge of electrical connectors/interconnects and their specific applications in industrial environments is a major advantage.
- German language skills are highly beneficial to support business development in the DACH region (French or Japanese language skills are also a plus).
What We Offer
- Basic Salary £45,000 – £65000 depending upon calibre and experience.
- Uncapped Performance-Based Bonus / Commission OTE linked to new logo acquisition.
