Location: Hybrid (Office & Home Based) Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 + Bonus + Benefits
The Company
Our client is a well-established and growing B2B technology business, delivering innovative products and services to commercial organisations across diverse sectors. With a robust client portfolio and a reputation for exceptional customer service, they prioritise growth and development, seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join their commercial team.
The Opportunity
This is an ideal role for a relationship-focused Account Manager, responsible for owning and growing an established portfolio of customers. By working closely with Sales, Operations, and Customer Support, you’ll act as the trusted point of contact, helping customers maximise value from the company’s solutions while ensuring seamless experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts, serving as the primarypoint-of-contact.
- Build and nurture long-term, high-value relationships with key decision-makers.
- Conduct regular customer reviews to assess evolving needs and identify improvement opportunities.
- Drive retention and renewals through proactive account management.
- Upsell existing accounts by introducing complementary products and services.
- Develop and execute account plans aligning customer success with commercial growth.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting, and activity tracking.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Resolve customer queries efficiently, escalating complex issues as necessary.
- Attend customer meetings and industry events as required.
- Share best practices with the wider commercial team.

About You
We’re looking for a commercially astute Account Manager who thrives on building strong, mutually beneficial client relationships.
Ideal Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience in Key Account Management, Account Management, or Customer Success.
- A track record of retaining and expanding B2B customer accounts.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage accounts.
- Strong organisation and multi-tasking abilities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a customer-first approach.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when necessary.
