Key Account Manager – Fire & Security £50,000 - £55,000 Basic Salary + £15,000 OTE + Company Car / £500pcm Car Allowance Home-Based | Covering in and around London-
Pertemps is pleased to be supporting a leading Fire & Security contractor in the appointment of a Key Account Manager to support the continued growth of its maintenance and service division. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced account management or business development professional with a background in Fire & Security to join a well-established organisation delivering Fire Detection, Security, Gas Suppression and Life Safety solutions across a diverse client base.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing key client relationships while identifying and securing new maintenance and service contract opportunities across both existing and prospective customers. Working closely with operational, technical and bid teams, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth, supporting client retention and delivering tailored solutions that enhance compliance, asset protection and service performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a pipeline of new maintenance and service opportunities.
- Grow existing accounts through strategic account management, upselling and cross-selling activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with Facilities Management providers, consultants and end-user clients.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, referrals and market engagement.
- Lead client meetings, presentations and contract review discussions.
- Prepare and negotiate proposals, quotations and service agreements.
- Support tender submissions and framework opportunities.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to identify additional service opportunities.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure successful delivery of client solutions.
- Achieve agreed sales and growth targets.

Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience within the Fire & Security industry.
- Strong background in Key Account Management, Business Development or Technical Sales.
- Knowledge of maintenance and service contracts.
- Experience selling Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm or Life Safety solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing a national customer portfolio.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Package
- £50,000 - £55,000 Basic Salary
- £15,000 OTE
- Company Car or £500 per month Car Allowance
- Home-based role with London and South coverage
