Key Account Manager (Fixed Term Contract – North East & Cumbria)

About Clinisupplies

Clinisupplies is a leading UK-based manufacturer and supplier of medical appliances, specialising in:

  • Bladder care and products for patients with acute and chronic conditions
  • A portfolio of bandages and garments for wound care and chronic skin conditions

With over 800 employees across the UK, China, and India, Clinisupplies supplies the NHS and delivers directly to patients’ homes through Nightingale Home Delivery, our dispensing appliance contractor.

The company is focused on:

  • Developing simple and discreet products
  • Collaborating closely with clinicians and patients
  • Building an innovative product pipeline
  • Manufacturing at globally approved facilities (CA, CE, ISO, US FDA).

The Role

We are seeking a Key Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team, specialising in driving the adoption of Clinisupplies’ products across primary and secondary care. This is a field-based, regional position covering North East & Cumbria, requiring frequent travel and occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and exceed agreed sales targets
  • Collaborate with Clinical and Commercial teams to increase product usage regionally
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and influencial stakeholders
  • Represent Clinisupplies at regional healthcare events
  • Engage with key decision-makers to explore opportunities
  • Support NHS Trusts in implementing patient pathways and securing service access
  • Develop tailored account plans with a strategic focus
  • Gain a deep understanding of:
    • NHS structures
    • Primary and secondary care integration
    • Formulary processes
  • Influence product positioning within local formularies
  • Provide accurate, regular reporting via CRM, planning tools, and stakeholder communications
  • Collaborate with colleagues on training initiatives, project rollouts, and new product launches
  • Educate healthcare professionals in both product and service positioning

Requirements

Essential

  • Proven experience in a sales or customer-facing role
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Driven, motivated, and target-focused approach
  • Confident relationship-building mindset with proactive engagement
  • Highly organised with strong planning and execution skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team

Desirable

  • Clinical, healthcare, or continuence care background
  • Prior experience in medical device sales
  • Demonstrated business acumen within high-performance sales environments
