Key Account Manager - Healthcare
Surrey

ISS Facility Services UK is seeking a Key Account Manager to act as the single, focal point of contact for a country-level healthcare client, ensuring a sustainable, successful and long-term relationship.
This role combines both strategic oversight and hands-on operational delivery, ensuring all services are delivered in line with contractual commitments and high standards of service excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships while driving continuous improvement and operational performance.
Operating across a regional NHS environment, the role will support key sites including inpatient settings and service hubs. The position requires a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement, service development, and growth, ensuring the ongoing success and retention of the account.
Job Description
Working across a healthcare environment, including main inpatient areas such as Farnham Road Hospital and other key hubs, the role will oversee soft FM services including cleaning, catering, portering, logistics and subcontracted services.

The position requires strong stakeholder engagement, operational leadership and a focus on growth, retention and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client, managing all strategic and operational interactions
- Ensure delivery of services in line with contractual requirements and operational processes
- Drive operational development of integrated FM/IFS solutions across the account
- Develop and maintain the Account Development Plan in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Identify and develop growth opportunities, maintaining a strong pipeline of propositions
- Lead and manage service delivery performance, ensuring excellence and continuous improvement
- Identify, map and mitigate operational and commercial risks to optimise contract performance and profitability
- Analyse and consolidate monthly financial results, implementing reporting and performance measures

Professional and Personal Competencies / Qualifications
- Healthcare background is essential
- Mental health experience is highly desirable
- Strong experience within soft FM environments
- Proven team management and leadership capability
- Demonstrated stakeholder management and client engagement skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally
