Zalaris UK and Ireland is hiring a Key Account Manager with strong upselling and business development capabilities, who combines exceptional customer relationship management with a challenger-sales mindset to drive growth across our multinational HR and Payroll customer base. As a Key Account Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of strategic customers, supporting them throughout their partnership with Zalaris - from service transition and governance to renewals, growth, and continuous improvement. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior HR and business leaders, helping customers maximise the value of our services while identifying opportunities to improve processes and expand the partnership.
We are looking for candidates with experience working in HR and Payroll outsourcing (BPO) organisations, particularly those with a good understanding of SAP HR and SAP Payroll solutions. This background will help you build credibility with customers and understand their business challenges.

Key Responsibilities
- Own key customer relationships, contracts, P&Ls, and strategic account plans.
- Drive renewals, upsell, cross-sale and expansion into new markets and services.
- Facilitate tactical & strategic governance meetings, ensuring clarity, alignment & execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic customers, using your SAP HR and Payroll outsourcing expertise to advise, challenge and support continuous improvement.
- Identify business challenges and opportunities to improve customer outcomes.
- Lead opportunity development and manage the sales pipeline within your accounts.
- Drive innovation and continuous customer improvement.
- Ensure smooth contract handover from sales to operations throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Champion customer success and work with internal teams to deliver results.

Your Experience and Skills
- Proven experience in a Key Account Management role within an HR & Payroll outsourcing (BPO) operating in complex, global environments.
- Strong commercial mindset with demonstrated success in upsell, renewals, and business development.
- Experience managing strategic customer relationships and working with senior stakeholders, ideally multi-country.
- Understanding of Payroll, Time & Attendance, Workforce Management, Travel & Expense, and HCM platform i.e. Workday, SAP, Oracle or similar.
- Analytical and advisory skills — able to build business cases and challenge customer thinking.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial “can-do” attitude and strong accountability for customer success.
