- Monitoring competitor activity and market developments to identify emerging opportunities and trends.
- Shaping future business growth by incorporating market insights into business plans and partnering with proposition teams to enhance offerings and maintain Legal & General's position as a market leader.
- Creating and delivering a proactive rolling three-month engagement plan for L&G's fund management professionals, maximising client interaction opportunities, measuring impact, and driving successful event participation and engagement.
- Representing L&G as a trusted market and investment expert at industry events, client presentations, and conferences.
- Supporting strategic account development through valuable market feedback, while presenting, hosting, and contributing to high-profile client events that strengthen relationships and elevate the L&G brand.
- Championing the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) by ensuring all activity aligns with Group policies, regulatory obligations, and Legal & General's commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
