Key Account Manager

Have you a proven track record in fast moving consumer goods sales, working proficiently with P&L modelling and repeat cycle processes with key strategic customers? If yes, then our role as Key Account Manager working collaboratively with one of our main retail customers could be the opportunity you are looking for.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our committed and friendly commercial sales team to work on one of our most strategic grocery accounts. Our main brands include everyday hygiene essentials such as Cushelle, Velvet, Plenty, Bodyform, and Tena, and you will be working on all these with your customer, utilizing your cross-functional experience to be able to deliver a growth agenda.

What You Will Do

  • Build commercial relationships with customers and ensure delivery of excellent customer service for allocated customers
  • Maintain P&L of own accounts, managing sales and profitability targets
  • Proactively look for opportunities to grow sales, whilst achieving company profit targets
  • Secure NPD listings with customer, engaging them through compelling category-based sales presentations and agree launch and support plans with them
  • Lead a cross-functional team to deliver against the company's objectives & deliver the P&L
  • Make sure that allocated accounts are settled in line with the agreed terms
  • Forecast predicted sales accurately to be close to customer level and SKU group

Who You Are

  • Proven commercial FMCG sales experience - ideally with one of the top 4 grocers
  • Proven experience of managing FMCG national accounts and financial budgets
  • Strong analytical skills with capability to analyse sales data sets, and insight data
  • Proven resilience, proactiveness, and customer focus to ensure development of strong business relationships internally and externally
  • Cross-functional leadership experience
  • Ability to prepare, present, and own business plans
  • Communicates with passion and focus on deliverables
  • Potential to grow in the role and become a leader in the future
  • Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or relevant industry experience
  • Full driving licence
