Are you commercially driven with a passion for building strong customer partnerships? At DCS Group, we’re looking for an Account Manager who will deliver and exceed sales targets, while growing market share through strategic customer, category, and shopper initiatives.

You’ll take full ownership of forecasting, customer planning, and financial performance—driving sustainable growth and continuous improvement across your accounts.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver against sales and margin targets, consistently exceeding expectations
  • Build and develop strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Own and manage volume and value forecasting across your customer group
  • Drive improvements in financial performance through:
    • Customer behaviour optimisation
    • Supplier investment and terms negotiation
    • Enhancing cash flow, stock days, and logistics efficiency
  • Lead the execution of core range distribution across all customers

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver supplier objectives in line with Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
  • Develop deep customer understanding, including:
    • KPIs, contacts, retail formats, and shopper profiles
    • Pricing, promotional, and category strategies
    • Competitive landscape and supply chain structures
  • Collaborate on forecasting and strategic planning
  • Jointly own account business modelling, ensuring strong ROI on supplier investment
  • Track and manage customer investment budgets, invoices, and claims
  • Influence range, distribution, and promotional activity
  • Analyse EPOS data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Monitor competitor activity and market intelligence
  • Activate promotions and features both in depot and online
  • Produce clear, insightful reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Resolve customer queries efficiently and effectively

Compliance & Standards

Ensure all activities relating to medicines and medical devices are fully compliant with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or FMCG
  • Strong commercial acumen with a data-driven mindset
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced analytical skills (EPOS/data interpretation)
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
