About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development / Account Manager to join our Critical Care Commercial team in the UK. This is a critical time as we launch our first oncology product.
Your role will focus on driving sales growth across London and the South of England, developing targeted business plans, and building strategic relationships with key healthcare stakeholders—all while adhering to our winning behaviours of simplification, collaboration, and accountability.
Core Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Driving sales & achieving targets within the assigned territory.
- Building & maintaining relationships with:
- Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
- Healthcare Professionals (HCPs)
- Payers & decision-makers
- Developing and executing high-impact account plans, with clear KPI tracking.
- Mapping, segmenting, and prioritising accounts to optimise engagement, including secondary care and local health system stakeholders.
- Implementing an omnichannel engagement strategy tailored to customer preferences.
- Collaborating cross-functionally (Local, Regional, Global) in a matrix environment.
- Ensuring full compliance with LEO processes and external codes (ABPI).
- Maximising market opportunities through evidence-driven, patient-focused engagement.
- Innovating value-adding projects that benefit patients, stakeholders, and LEO.
- Building market intelligence and agility to adapt to regulatory, environmental, and competitive shifts.

Key Travel Requirements
- ~60% time in/around London (with travel across key centres: London, Birmingham, Oxford, Cambridge).
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
Your Qualifications
To be successful, you should have:
✅ A BSc in life sciences (or equivalent experience). ✅ ABPI Code of Practice qualification. ✅ Proven track record in:
- Driving sales growth through multichannel engagement
- Developing & executing high-quality account plans (launch & established products)
- Mapping & prioritising accounts (KOLs, HCPs, payers) in oncology & immunology (preferred, but not mandatory)
- Collaborating efficiently in cross-functional matrix environments (Market Access, Medical, Marketing) ✅ Prior experience in patient pathway engagement and prescription influence. ✅ Strong experience in forecasting & performance reviews. ✅ Advantageous: Oncology / immunology familiarity and line science expertise.
