In the Commercial team, we share a “challenge accepted” mindset and are guided by our winning behaviours of simplification, collaboration, and accountability, to achieve our goals.
Your Role
As a Business Development Account Manager your core focus will be to deliver sales growth for the Critical Care portfolio across London and the South of England, using a targeted channel mix to achieve agreed objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering sales and achieving financial targets within the assigned territory.
- Establishing and developing trusted relationships with KOLs, HCPs and payers.
- Creating, implementing, and continuously reviewing and adapting high-quality account plans for priority accounts, with clear KPI tracking.
- Maintaining effective account mapping, segmentation, and prioritisation, with a clear understanding of patient pathways, treatment landscapes, and stakeholder needs.
- Implementing an omnichannel approach to tailor engagement to customer preferences.
- Partnering collaboratively across local, regional, and global cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
- Ensuring full compliance with LEO processes and relevant external codes, including ABPI.
- Driving prescribing and maximise business opportunities through effective, compliant activities.
- Developing innovative, value-adding projects that benefit patients, stakeholders, and LEO.
- Building market intelligence and staying agile in order to adapt to environmental challenges and opportunities.
- Leading collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Market Access, Medical and Marketing to deliver territory and account objectives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
