Micheldever Tyre Services is looking for a proactive Key Accounts Manager – National Accounts, to work as part of a proactive and fast-paced customer support team. Reporting to the National Accounts Sales Manager you will be responsible for supporting National Accounts and Fleet customer enquiries - supporting the field sales teams with stock availability, delivery schedules, promotional campaigns and other key operational issues.
You will need to be a well organised multi-tasker with a high attention to detail with the flexibility to meet the constantly changing requirements of the customer. You will be expected to deliver a high service level to our customers.
Success in this role will come from providing an excellent service to our customers, overcoming any issues and providing great support. This will directly impact customer sales and account loyalty to Micheldever.
Location: Ideally Midlands based. Remote working with some travel to MTS sales office as required
Must have: Full UK Driving Licence. Held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application)

Salary: £30-32K (OTE £35-37K)

About the role:
- Provide our customers with industry leading account management and service levels that allow them to transact in a timely manner with their customers.
- Support the management of impress stock (supersessions, new products, stock removals)
- Pro-actively drive tyre sales via outbound phone activity
- Supporting the wider field team with bespoke sales opportunities.
- Providing product information including stock availability, prices and delivery.
- Processing ad-hoc customer’s orders, managing their credit limits
- Communicating brand promotions and sales initiatives to customers.
- Making sure all information is accurately communicated to the customer.

About you:
- Experience in a sales office environment
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the tyre industry – preferred but not essential
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
About our company: Micheldever Tyre Services (MTS) was founded in 1972 as a part-time venture providing car servicing and tyres. Today, Micheldever Group is the fastest growing wholesaler, distributor and retailer of tyres in the UK, selling six million tyres nationwide, (20 percent of the total UK market) and employing approximately 2100 employees, companywide. To support this business, we have built a wholesale distribution network of 14 sites around the UK supplying over 6,000 retailers and our own retail chain Protyre which is consistently growing. This is achieved by skilled, focused and determined teams across 1 central distribution and 13 warehouse operations nationwide.
