🚨 WE’RE HIRING! KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER
Are you the type who notices a café’s fridge layout and immediately imagines how products should be positioned? Do you enjoy building strong relationships and bringing exciting brands to life in real-world retail environments? If so, this role could be perfect for you.
We’re seeking a driven Key Account Manager to grow customer visibility, volume and vibrant partnerships across North England, based in Manchester. Ideal candidates will thrive by developing key relationships with cafés, bars, convenience stores, and lifestyle retailers—all while passionately championing challenger brands.
🎯 What You’ll Be Doing
🧃 Territory Account Management
- Own and expand a portfolio of key independent accounts and regional chains across North England
- Drive volume, visibility, and trade engagement through:
- Promotional sell-in strategies
- Merchandising best practices
- Trade activation initiatives
- Cultivate long-term relationships with:
- Cafés
- Bars
- Convenience stores
- Lifestyle retailers
- Lead sell-in conversations with these partners to secure growth
💥 Execution & Sales Performance
- Hit monthly targets for:
- Sales volume
- Distribution coverage
- Menu listings
- Own the CRM and analytics for all allocated accounts
- Monitor trade compliance and in-store promotional success

- Share data-driven insights on:
- Market trends
- Shopper behaviour
- Competitor strategies
- Contribute to:

- Channel-specific execution plans
🤝 Collaboration & Development
- Work closely with the Head of OOH for:
- Account coaching
- Performance tracking
- Ongoing support
- Partner with Wholesale NAM to ensure seamless process handover and volume uplifting
🔍 Who You Are
✔ Proven experience in:
- Working with independent cafés, bars, or lifestyle retailers
- Understanding the café or lifestyle retail landscape
✔ Strong communications specialist
- A commercial mindset with self starter qualities ✔ Demonstrated success in:
- Sales / account management
- Customer success roles ✔ Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment ✔ Enthusiastic about culture-led, emerging brands
💼 Structure of the Role
- Reports to: Head of OOH
- Collaborates with:
- Wholesale NAM
- Sales Director
- Marketing & Operations
- Critical Customer Relationships with:
- Key regional independents
- Café groups
- Bars
- Lifestyle-focused retailers
