Key Account Manager – Premium Interior Products

Field-Based (South Wales & South West)


About the Opportunity

A rare chance to represent a globally recognised premium interiors brand and manage an established, high-performing retail account base as a Key Account Manager.

Competitive Package:

  • Basic salary: £47,000–£50,000
  • Uncapped bonus (realistic OTE £75,000–£90,000)

The Role

This is a field-based / home-based account management position for a leading manufacturer of premium interiors products. You will manage a strong portfolio of independent retail partners across South Wales & the South West, focusing on:

  • Account development
  • Showroom support
  • Driving incremental revenue growth
  • Brand positioning & merchandising

The territory enjoys strong brand presence, long-standing retailer relationships, and a loyal customer base. Success in this role hinges on consultative selling—building trusted partnerships to support showroom appeal, product placement, and brand reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage & develop an existing retail account base
  • Grow revenue through retention and expansion strategies
  • Support showrooms with displays, merchandising, and product launches

  • Build lasting relationships with retail decision-makers

The Candidate: What We’re Looking For

A consultative, commercially oriented sales professional with experience managing retailers, showrooms, or distributor accounts. Ideally, experience in: ➡ Interiors (e.g., KBB—kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms) ➡ Flooring, surfaces, or design-led building products ➡ Premium commercial product distribution

Ideal Skills & Experience

  • Proven field sales & account management track record
  • Confidence in managing retail/distributor relationships
  • Strong understanding of premium and design-driven brands
  • Commercial acumen with outstanding relationship-building skills
  • Negotiation expertise in driving growth
  • Brand positioning knowledge for premium markets
  • Self-motivated, highly organised, and deadline-focused
