Key Account Manager (KAM) – Oncology (Field-based, East Midlands & East England)


Location

Field-based (East Midlands and East of England region): Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, Bedfordshire, Luton, Milton Keynes, Hertfordshire and West Essex, Norfolk and Waveney, North East Essex, Suffolk, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire.

About the Role

At Ipsen, we’re dedicated to enhancing patients’ lives through cutting-edge medicines and strong partnerships. We’re seeking a Key Account Manager (KAM) to reinforce our Oncology team, driving excellence across the East Midlands and East England.


Your Impact

As the KAM, you will:

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with oncologists, urologists, and key stakeholders across hospitals, academic centres, and NHS trusts.
  • Provide high-quality, compliant disease and product education to help achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and execute territory and key account plans aligned with Ipsen’s strategic business objectives.
  • Secure hospitals and regional formulary inclusions through expert engagement and persuasive selling.
  • Collaborate with Medical, Marketing, and Sales teams to drive account success and execution.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for professionals with:

  • Proven success in pharmaceutical or specialty medicine sales, ideally in a Key Account Manager (KAM) or similar role.
  • Preference for Oncology or Urology experience, though strong sales performers will also be considered.
  • Deep understanding of NHS structures, funding mechanisms, and account decision-making processes.
  • High-level clinical knowledge, with the ability to translate complex data clearly.
  • ABPI qualification (Current ABPI qualification required) and residency within the specified territory.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with a drive for excellence and execution.
  • Willingness for field-based work, with the eagerness to travel frequently—this is not a virtual role.
