Experienced Orthopaedic Sales Professional – Key Account Manager (Shoulder Arthroplasty)
Are you an experienced orthopaedic sales professional with a passion for shoulder arthroplasty and building lasting clinical partnerships? We are seeking a driven and strategic Key Account Manager to lead commercial growth across the UK, focusing on delivering innovative joint replacement solutions that improve surgical outcomes and enhance patient care.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation known for its advanced orthopaedic technologies, surgeon education, and commitment to clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed regional sales targets within the shoulder arthroplasty portfolio.
- Develop and execute territory and key account plans to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Build and manage relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), surgeons, and procurement stakeholders within the NHS and private healthcare sectors.
- Provide expert clinical and technical support during surgical cases and local training sessions.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities at local and national levels.
- Lead and coordinate tender negotiations and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with UK and international teams on strategic account development and product launches.
- Organise and support surgeon training events and educational programmes across the UK and Europe.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives, trade shows, and professional conferences.
- Mentor and support junior sales colleagues, promoting knowledge sharing and best practice.

Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in orthopaedic sales, ideally with a focus on shoulder arthroplasty or joint reconstruction.
- Proven track record in key account management and business development.
- Strong network within NHS and private hospital systems, with experience engaging senior management and procurement teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage margins, P&L, and tenders effectively.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Degree-level education (Life Sciences preferred, but not essential).
