Key Account Manager
Key Account Manager (Preston/Lancaster/Blackburn Area)
This role operates on a hybrid basis, combining field-based work (visiting customer sites/office visits), as well as remote work.

Responsibilities
You’ll spend part of your time out in the field, acting as the primary contact for customers across the Preston, Lancaster, and Blackburn regions. Our customer base is diverse, spanning multiple industries. Your core responsibilities include:
- Deep engagement with customers to understand their challenges and deliver world-class solutions, expanding your portfolio’s value.
- Strategic revenue growth: identifying opportunities within your existing accounts.
- Driving performance: producing robust business plans that surpass sales and profit targets.
- Market expertise: developing a detailed understanding of customers, competitors, and industry trends.
- Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and account data.
- Collaborating internally—forming coalitions with internal account managers and teams to support sales targets.

Requirements
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- Field-based sales experience with a proven track record in account management, including exposure to KPIs and target-driven outcomes.
- Adaptability: an open-minded mindset, eager to embrace change.
- Solution-focused attitude: solution-led workflows and problem-solving approaches.
- Strategic expertise: strong strategic thinking and long-term planning skills.
- Relational strengths: excellent networking and relationship-building capabilities.
- Communication skills: strong interpersonal and written communication for business development.
- (Bonus) Experience with Salesforce CRM or B2B systems—though not mandatory.
- Essential requirement: a full driving license due to field-based travel.
