The Role
This is a high impact, hunter style sales role for someone who thrives on building relationships from the ground up and creating genuine commercial value. You will identify and win new business, then systematically grow key accounts by increasing our share of customer spend across a broad product range.
This is not an account maintenance role, you will be expected to create your own opportunities, develop your own pipeline, and take full ownership of your results.
You’ll be supported by a strong internal Sales Support team, allowing you to focus on what you do best: winning and growing business.
Key Responsibilities

- Identify high-potential businesses currently under-trading or not trading with FireSealsDirect
- Build and maintain a structured, prioritised pipeline of target accounts
- Generate your own appointments through outbound activity, networking, and referrals
- Take a proactive approach to business development — never waiting for leads

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
