Mode is proud to be partnering with a growing accessories brand seeking a Key Account Manager to cover the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic business, driving wholesale growth across backpacks and lifestyle accessories within a fast-paced market.
The company is expanding and offers strong potential for development, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact within the UK retail landscape.
This is a field-based role covering the UK, reporting into the Global Head of Sales. Fully remote but does require frequent travel across the UK
The Role Manage and develop relationships with independent retailers and department stores across the UK. Identify and open new accounts, driving wholesale growth within your territory. Travel extensively to meet existing clients and prospect new business opportunities. Present product collections, secure orders, and introduce new seasonal ranges. Build strong, long-term partnerships with buyers and store owners. Support in-store presence through basic merchandising and product visibility. Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends to inform sales strategy. Deliver against sales targets and distribution goals. Provide regular reporting and updates on performance and territory activity.

Requirements Proven experience in field sales or wholesale sales, ideally within accessories, fashion, lifestyle, or similar product categories. Experience working with independent retailers and/or department stores. Strong track record of developing new business and opening accounts. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Self-motivated and highly organised, with the ability to work independently. Comfortable with frequent travel across the UK. Full UK driving licence required. Existing network within fashion, accessories, or gift retail. Experience managing regional or national territories. Understanding of retail cycles and seasonal product launches.
