The Role

We’re seeking a Key Account Support Specialist to act as the customer champion for a dedicated portfolio of global accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Relationships

  • Build and sustain strong day-to-day relationships with customer stakeholders across regions.
  • Partner with the Global Key Account Manager to ensure excellence in account execution, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Customer Support & Conflict Resolution

  • Process and coordinate cross-regional customer requests and inquiries.
  • Ensure alignments with global account agreements (Terms & Conditions).
  • Lead dispute and quality complaint resolution to timely closure.
  • Collaborate with local customer service teams, supply chain, and operations to deliver exceptional service.

Pricing & Commercial Excellence

  • Prepare, manage, and maintain global and regional price lists.
  • Support pricing updates, escalations, and cross-regional alignment.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in commercial data.

Project Coordination & Strategy

  • Coordinate global account-specific projects (e.g., harmonization, new product launches).
  • Track milestones and progress while managing regional/group Requests for Quotation (RFQ).
  • Work cross-functionally with teams globally.

Business Performance & Reporting

  • Develop customer presentations (e.g., quarterly business reviews, performance updates).
  • Proactively communicate market and customer trends to assigned accounts.
  • Monitor and address overdue receivables internally.

Requirements

Core Competencies

  • Customer Service:
    • Mastery of 7 skills of Customer Service Excellence.
  • Analytical Skills:
    • Ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Communication:
    • Fluent English (written & spoken) for cross-cultural, global communication.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork:
    • Proficiency in working with Key Account Managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Project Management:
    • Ability to juggle multiple priorities, deadlines, and global stakeholders.
  • Cultural Sensitivity:
    • High global awareness and ability to thrive in a diverse, international environment.
  • Attention to Detail:
    • Ensures precision in pricing, reporting, and communication.

Technical Proficiency

  • Advanced Excel (data analysis, pivot tables).
  • Professional PowerPoint for customer presentations.
  • Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems is advantageous.

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Supply Chain, or related field), or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience in customer service, sales support, or B2B account coordination (preferably in industrial or global settings).
  • Multinational or global accounts exposure is a strong plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Range

  • € 64,800 – € 110,200 annually (typically € 64,800–€ 87,500 for new hires).
  • May include short-term incentives, scaled per market, skills, experience, and location.
