Key Leader – Retail Store (lululemon)
About the Role
lululemon is an innovative performance apparel company specialising in yoga, running, training, and other athletic pursuits. We lead in technical fabrics and functional design, creating transformational products and experiences that help people move, grow, connect, and thrive.
This Key Leader role is a critical part of the store leadership team, impacting salesfloor team members and customer experience daily. You’ll drive operations, lead by example, and ensure an outstanding guest experience while managing key performance indicators and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People Management
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and career guidance to foster growth and development
- Offer feedback, gap assessment, and performance recognition
- Share product and company knowledge through targeted communication channels
Guest (Customer) Experience
- Lead salesfloor operations, ensuring optimal team coverage and efficiency
- Train and guide team members to deliver exceptional service and personalised solutions
- Educate customers on product benefits and support seamless transactions
- Address guest concerns and escalations to ensure satisfaction
- Mobilise across the store to meet business, team, and customer needs
Working With Others
- Foster an inclusive and respectful team culture
- Build collaborative relationships to enhance guest experience
- Work effectively with all team members

Operations
- Review business metrics to assess progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Manage store opening and closing procedures via checklists
- Oversee product presentation, restocking, cleaning, and inventory tasks
- Ensure cleanliness and store standards alignment
- Adhere to people safety policies and operational policies
(Budget Responsibility: Not applicable)
People Management
- Serve as a team lead with indirect responsibility for a subset of retail associates

Job Requirements
Eligibility
- Legally authorised to work in the store’s country
- 18+ years old
- Valid Right to Work proof (if applicable)
- Must be able to commute to the assigned store daily via personal transport
Availability
- Flexible scheduling: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Willingness Requirements
- Ability to move dynamically across the store during shifts
- Strength to handle boxes weighing up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg)
- Comfort operating in environments with bright lighting and loud music
Experience
- (Nice to have, not required):
- Retail/sales leadership experience (1+ year) — does not necessarily require supervision
Education
- (Nice to have, not required):
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree (optional)
