Summary

A Great Opportunity to Join a Dynamic Team and Develop Critical Skills in an FMCG Environment.

The Role

Join our team and play a key role in driving consistent performance on the production line. Working closely with the Area Manager, you will ensure everyone on the line is trained, performing to the required standard, and that health and safety and technical compliance are maintained throughout.

£14.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:00 (paid breaks)

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the day to day running of the line alongside the Area Manager, ensuring optimal run speeds and product quality are achieved
  • Delivering training and support to new starters and operatives, building a multi-skilled team
  • Monitoring operative performance and working with the Area Manager to maintain a strong training plan for every team member
  • Identifying areas impacting production and seeking corrective actions and resolutions
  • Ensuring all team members understand and adhere to technical and health and safety requirements
  • Encouraging the team to monitor product quality and reject any unsuitable products
  • Ensuring equipment and areas are cleaned to company hygiene standards and that a clean as you go policy is followed throughout the shift
  • Completing all required paperwork and line checks accurately
  • Communicating clearly and promptly with the team and wider business
  • Promoting all relevant company policies and procedures
