Key Production Operative - Warehouse & FLT

Manufacturing Key Operative – Warehouse and FLT

We’re looking for someone dynamic and dependable to join our fast-paced manufacturing site as a Manufacturing Key Operative – Warehouse and FLT. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless inventory management, software updates, and accurate warehouse operations to guarantee our deliveries are documented and distributed correctly.

Core Responsibilities

  • Inventory & Warehouse Operations: Maintenance of stock levels, accurate recording, and ensuring products are in the correct locations.
  • Order Fulfillment: Supporting the picking, loading, and unloading of various products while maintaining timeliness and quality.
  • Stock Management: Assisting with the movement and organisation of stock across the warehouse — including safe operation of forklift trucks if required.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Supporting the smooth operation between Manufacturing and Logistics teams.
  • Training: Engaging in on-the-job training to ensure familiarity with all tasks, including:
    • Inventory accuracy checks
    • Documentation of deliveries
    • Administration tasks

About You

  • Little to no manufacturing or food-handling experience required — we provide full training as part of onboarding.
  • A willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, physical environment, including:
    • Operating in a warehouse setting (dusty, noisy, temperature variations).
    • Physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, walking, pushing, pulling, and stretching any given task.
    • Handling food safely per quality assurance standards.
  • Familiarity with (or enthusiasm for adopting) basic operational forklift handling (if applicable).
  • The ability to collaborate fluidly between logistics and manufacturing teams.
