Key Information
Location: Thorpe Hesley Primary School
Salary: Band C of the Support Staff Salary Spine. Actual Salary - £19,229 (FTE - £25,185)
Contract Type: 32.5 hrs per week, Term Time Only + 2 INSET days
Contract Term: Temporary until 7th May 2027
Dates
Closing Date: Monday 14th September
Interview Date: Thursday 17th September

Thorpe Hesley Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed full time teaching assistant to join the friendly team at our outstanding school. The role is to support children including children with additional needs in Key Stage 2. We are looking for someone who is creative, passionate and patient to join our committed and friendly team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of working with children is required
- Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent
Skills and Qualities:
- Flexible
- Numerate
- IT literate
- Punctual
- Reliable
- Willing to undertake training as required

Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide basic first aid as part of the school day (full training will be provided)
