Job Description

St Matthew’s Church of England Primary School
Address: Ipswich, Suffolk IP1 2AX
Salary: £25,185.00 pro rata
Hours: 27.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year
Contract: Fixed term until 31 August 2027. Required from September 2026
Reference: 5252
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.45am – 3:15pm.


About the Role

St Matthew’s Church of England Primary School is looking for a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant.

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 2. The contract is fixed term until 31 August 2027 in the first instance.

Qualifications (Essential):

  • Grade C / 4+ Mathematics and English
  • A good level of computer literacy
