Key Stage One Teacher
Fixed-term contract – to commence September 2026 until December 2026
Part time: 0.4 FTE (MPS) – Thursday and Friday
We are looking for an enthusiastic and high-quality qualified teacher who can inspire and teach within our Key Stage 1 team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a range of colleagues, including class teachers, teaching assistants, phase leaders and the SEND team, to provide engaging and inclusive learning experiences for all pupils.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has
- a proven track record of making a positive difference to pupils’ progress and attainment through consistently high-quality teaching
- recent and relevant experience of teaching within Key Stage 1, with a secure understanding of the National Curriculum, age-related expectations and effective approaches to assessment
- an inspirational approach to teaching and learning, with high expectations for pupils’ achievement, progress and behaviour
- a compassionate and caring approach to working with children, parents, carers and colleagues
- a commitment to ensuring every child is supported, challenged and encouraged to achieve their full potential
- enthusiasm, energy and a willingness to continually reflect upon and develop their own professional practice
- the ability to use initiative and contribute positively to the ongoing development and improvement of teaching, learning and provision across the school
- a commitment to leading and developing a curriculum subject area and contributing to whole-school improvement
- secure understanding of the transition from the Early Years Foundation Stage into Key Stage 1 and the ability to build on children's prior learning and experiences
