Keyholder – Belstaff Retail Store

As a Keyholder, you’ll be pivotal in maximising sales revenue, cultivating strong customer relationships, and setting exceptional customer service standards across the store.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
- Set and consistently exceed the sales benchmark in-store, driving revenue while inspiring and enabling team members to achieve their targets.
- Foster a dynamic, collaborative environment that prioritises high sales and exceptional customer experiences.
- Provide personalised, high-end customer service by:
- Greeting, guiding, and assisting customers confidently.
- Up-selling and cross-selling products professionally across the entire collection.
- Ensuring customers are fully informed about product care, customisation, waxing, aftersales, and stock availability.
- Stay informed on local events, trends, and industry insights to engage customers authentically.
- Handle customer complaints and queries professionally, maintaining trust and loyalty.
- Develop strong internal and external relationships, including partnerships with other Belstaff Stores and Head Office.

Stock & Security
- Uphold inventory responsibility, ensuring all stock is tagged, protected, and presented securely.
- Follow company security procedures, minimising theft risks and adhering to audits.
- Maintain high standards of stock storage (both on-floor and back-of-house) to prevent damage.
Visual Merchandising
- Present stock and displays that align with Belstaff’s brand vision, creating an inviting and commercially effective shop floor.
- Ensure all merchandise is properly labelled, ready for sale, and in optimal condition.
Managerial & Operational Duties
- When keyholding duties are assigned, execute them in accordance with company protocols.
- Collaborate closely with Store Managers and supervisors on operational, safety, and profit-driven decisions.
Health & Safety (H&S)
- Adhere strictly to company rules, HSE legislation, and safety standards.
Requirements & Expectations

- Strong sales acumen, with the ability to influence and lead a team.
- Exceptional product knowledge – you must be conversant in Belstaff’s entire collection and services.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, focusing on customer centricity, persistence, and initiative.
- Ability to build and maintain trust in high-end service environments.

Experience & Skills
- Previous retail or sales experience (preferably in luxury or high-street fashion).
- Experience in upsilling/cross-selling and achieving sales targets.
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with impeccable presentation skills.
- Customer service excellence – proactively anticipating and exceeding client needs.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a can-do attitude—so you can exceed daily challenges.
- Basic below-the-line tasks (stock management, visual merchandising, etc.) with a focus on attention to detail.
Work Arrangements
- This role operates within a 40-hour weekly contract (hours typically Monday to Saturday).
- Consists of specific keyholding periods, security, and managerial oversight as needed.
