Job Details
Location: Birmingham, MI 48009 Position Type: Full-Time (up to 40 hours/week) Salary Range: $18.00 hourly Work Schedule: Days, evenings, weekends, and additional hours during peak seasons Category: Retail (Customer-Obsessed Leadership Role)

What You’ll Do
As a Store Key Holder, you will:
- Lead the frontline of our retail store and online presence, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience.
- Ensure store operations run smoothly in the absence of management.
- Strengthen connections with customers through phenomenal service and memorable interactions.
- Deliver concrete results—revenue, profits, and overall store success—through unwavering focus on the customer.
Primary Responsibilities:

Store Operations & Security
- Perform opening and closing procedures, including securing the store and managing alarms.
- Prepare register equipment for each shift.

Customer Engagement
- Build lasting relationships and create fun memories for customers.
- Greet customers warmly, assist with product selection, and resolve concerns.
- Promote loyalty programs and address product inquiries with enthusiasm.

Merchandising & Inventory
- Maintain the sales floor, backroom, and checkout areas to meet company standards.
- Assist in inventory processes, from receiving to product replenishment.

Sales Support
- Achieve sales goals by actively engaging with customers.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and transactions professionally.

Leadership & Team Management
- Be the lead on duty when management isn’t present.
- Support and coach team members on store policies, customer service expectations, and product knowledge.
- Motivate teams through your own positive and energetic attitude.
What You’ll Bring
To excel as our Store Key Holder, you will:

Leadership & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience in a leadership or key holder role.
- Minimum 2 years in retail operations, store management, and customer experience.

Key Competencies
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional, customer-centric service.
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Accuracy with cash handling and POS systems (Shopify experience is a plus).
- Physical ability to perform store duties, including:
- Moving/prosting items (up to 30 lbs + assistance).
- Standing for 8+ hours per shift, kneeling, lifting, arranging merchandise.
- Using ladders and climbing equipment as needed.
