Kids Residential Support Worker

Job Title: Kids Residential Support Worker  Location: Leicestershire  Pay Rate: £25000 to £26500 per annum + 6k sleep ins (dependent upon experience)

Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is recruiting Children’s Residential Support Workers for its client in Leicestershire. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team, providing care and support to children and young people living in residential homes, helping them feel safe, valued, and empowered to achieve positive outcomes.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Support children and young people with daily routines, emotional well-being, and personal development.
  • Promote independence and encourage positive behaviours through role modelling.
  • Assist with education, recreational activities, and community engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans.
  • Respond to challenging situations calmly and professionally.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to ensure holistic care.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential).
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare.
  • Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to undertake training and development.
