Technical Sales Engineer – Growth Opportunity

The Role

We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Technical Sales Engineer to support growth across our core markets. Working closely with the senior management team and project engineers, you will:

  • Identify new opportunities
  • Develop client relationships
  • Support the technical aspects of proposals and bids

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities across target sectors and regions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships; act as a trusted technical point of contact.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote Kigtek Solutions and generate leads.

Technical & Commercial Execution

  • Prepare and contribute to technical proposals, tender responses, and commercial bids.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, demonstrations, and value propositions to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to develop feasible, cost-effective solutions.
  • Support pricing, cost estimates, and commercial negotiations, ensuring alignment with company strategy.

Reporting & CRM Management

  • Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline and produce regular business development reports for senior management.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies relevant to our business.

Qualifications & Skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering or technical discipline (or equivalent experience).

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in a business development, sales, or commercial role within engineering or technical services (minimum 3–5 years desirable).
  • Strong technical understanding to confidently engage with engineering teams and clients.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
  • Commercial awareness with experience in preparing proposals, pricing technical services.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
