The Role
We’re looking for a proactive, commercially astute Technical Sales Engineer to help grow our business across core markets. Reporting to the senior management team and project engineers, your role will involve identifying new opportunities, developing client relationships, and supporting the technical aspects of proposals and bids.
This is an ideal opportunity for a technically skilled commercial professional who can combine expertise with business acumen and grow with a dynamic engineering company.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and qualify new business opportunities across target sectors and regions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted technical point of contact
- Contribute to technical proposals, tender responses, and commercial bids
- Develop and deliver presentations, demonstrations, and value propositions to clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to design feasible, cost-effective solutions
- Support pricing, cost estimates, and commercial negotiations, aligned with company strategy
- Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline and provide regular business development reports to senior management
- Attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote Kigtek Solutions and generate leads
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies

Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in engineering, a technical discipline, or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in business development, technical sales, or commercial roles within engineering or technical services
- Strong technical knowledge, enabling confident interaction with engineering teams and clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with expertise in technical presentations
- Commercial awareness, including experience in creating proposals and pricing technical services
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – essential
- Full UK driving licence
