What We Are Looking For

We’re seeking a passionate, dynamic, and experienced Sports Bar Manager to: 🔹 Lead a team in delivering an exciting, high-energy environment for sports fans from all walks of life 🔹 Be sports obsessed (yes, really!) with a deep knowledge of games, teams, and fan culture 🔹 Thrive in hospitality, expertise in food and beverage operations, and managing a fast-paced bar setting 🔹 Oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive sales while maintaining a fun, safe, and engaging atmosphere

Main Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Operations

  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of bar staff
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction
  • Monitor bar inventory levels (beverages, supplies, equipment)
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with health and safety regulations

Customer & Business Growth

  • Create and promote sports-related events, viewing parties, and local partnerships
  • Engage with customers via social media and promotions
  • Build relationships with local fan groups to drive attendance
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and issues professionally
  • Upsell and cross-sell food and beverage to boost revenue

Event & Marketing Coordination

  • Lead the Profit and Loss (P&L) operations for Kings Sports Bar
  • Spearhead key events, collaborate with brand partners, and secure marketing support and USPs
  • Work with the marketing team to promote:
    • In-house events
    • Seasonal offers
    • Customer engagement initiatives (e.g., digital darts in the bar)
  • Identify new opportunities to increase revenue through strategically upselling

Staff Management & Development

  • Recruit, train, and supervise bar and restaurant staff
  • Create employee schedules to optimise labour costs and efficiency
  • Motivate, coach, and resolve conflicts within the team
  • Foster a positive and professional work environment

✅ Age Requirement: Must be 18+ and have the right to work in the UK 📅 Flexibility Required: Working nights, weekends, and shifts covering 24/7 operations ℹ️ Physical Demands: Long shifts on your feet, face-to-face customer engagement is essential
