Description

You will support the day-to-day operation of the central kitchen, preparing and cooking food to high standards. The job supports all food preparation for hospitality and events.

About the Role

To support the kitchen team with the serving and preparation of food for all outlets. Cooking and preparing food to a high standard and quality using recipes. We have our own in-house range which involves food preparation for all outlets ordering these items. To Assist in the planning and delivery of events such as graduation, open days, weddings, summer schools, and conferences.

About You

  • Food safety Qualification
  • Experience of food prep, knowledge of allergens, and special diets
  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • Commercial Kitchen experience
  • Teamwork & working under pressure evidence

Additional Information

Grade 5 - Starting from £17,752.8 rising £19,801.20 per annum to Pro Rata £29,588 - £ 33,002

The salary range shows the potential maximum pay progression in addition to any annual inflationary increase to your pay. Please note that our default position is to appoint into the lower end of the range, unless there are exceptional circumstances.

Interview dates 10th and 12th August

You will be required to work evening and weekends for planned events, for which, overtime will be paid when in excess of contracted hours. Due to operational requirements, some flexibility of working hours will be required in order to meet business needs. The department can be open 7 days a week, and post holders will be required to work on a 5 out of 7 rotating pattern. Covering early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Advanced notice will be provided.
