Job Description

Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Kitchen Assistant, you’re not just leading culinary production of a designated kitchen – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Responsibilities
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Support kitchen operations: Assist the Night Kitchen team in maintaining a clean, organised, and well-prepared kitchen environment to ensure smooth overnight operations
- Maintain cleanliness standards: Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are cleaned and stored correctly, supporting efficient food preparation and service
- Ensure health and safety compliance: Follow all Health & Safety and hygiene procedures, maintaining a safe environment for both team members and guests
- Support team efficiency: Work collaboratively with the kitchen brigade to keep operations running seamlessly and support overall team performance
- Assist with kitchen organisation: Help manage the flow of equipment and ensure all items are readily available for use by the kitchen team
- Contribute to a positive team environment: Demonstrate reliability, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic while supporting a productive and rewarding workplace
