Kitchen Assistant – Permanent, Part-Time

Scale: 1, Point: 3 Annual Salary: £24,796 pro-rata (Actual salary: £14,135.07 per annum) Hours: 24.25 hours per week, 39 weeks (Term Time Only) Start Date: 1st September 2026

We are now seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly, hardworking catering team.

Experience in a school or workplace kitchen, along with knowledge of food hygiene principles, would be advantageous. We welcome applicants with willingness to learn and a passionate commitment to supporting our students.

Requirements

  • No formal qualifications required, but familiarity with kitchen environments is helpful

  • DBS suitability (full enhanced check required)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
