📍 Clapham, London • 80 en-suite bedrooms across two floors • Specialist care for:
- Complex nursing needs
- Dementia support
- Residential mental health • Safe, clinically-led environment
Kitchen Assistant – Contract Position
💷 Wage: £12.71 per hour ⏰ Contract: 40 hours per week 🏷️ Benefits:

Role Overview
Joining Luso Court Care from the very beginning offers a unique opportunity to shape our kitchen, team culture, and dining experience as the service launches. As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll help create a clean, organised, and welcoming environment while supporting high-quality meals—this is a hands-on role where teamwork and efficiency are key.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting food preparation and meal delivery
- Maintaining kitchen hygiene and cleanliness
- Assisting with deliveries, storage, and stock organisation
- Collaborating with the Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth, safe operations
- Working independently and within a structured routine while gaining experience
This is an ideal role for those looking to build or develop kitchen skills in a supportive, well-structured team.
What We Are Looking For
We cherish reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will have:
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of food safety & hygiene (EHWB essential)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Previous kitchen experience (advantageous but not essential)
