Our Kitchen Assistants form the backbone of our award-winning kitchens. You’ll help plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, nutritionally beneficial meals that delight both taste buds and contribute positively to residents’ health and well-being!

### About the Kitchen Assistant Role

In this core role, you’ll play a vital part in lifting everyone’s spirits. Key responsibilities include:

  • Helping chefs prepare and deliver stunning meals for our residents.
  • Ensuring food is correctly labelled and meets individual dietary requirements.
  • Reducing food wastage during preparation.
  • Adhering to COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and Health & Safety standards.

### About You

We seek a proactive, passionate, and ambitious professional who can help foster our person-centred approach for residents. You’ll be genuinely valued, supported, and empowered as a core part of our team.

Ideal Candidates:

  • Experience as a Kitchen Assistant or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety.
  • A friendly, approachable, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Understanding (or previous exposure) to COSHH & Health & Safety standards.
  • Familiarity with the care sector has strong advantages.
