We’re looking for an equally passionate Kitchen Assistant to join the team and help deliver an excellent dining experience for our residents.
The Role
You’ll be helping team members ensure that every resident enjoys a thoughtful and nourishing meal—making health happen by contributing directly to quality of life. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the link between the main kitchen and our residents, ensuring smooth meal distribution.
- Assisting chefs to plate meals, prepare food trolleys, and keep preparation areas clean and tidy.
- Monitoring stock rotation and ensuring compliance with all mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
- Helping cater for special events, including summer barbecues and Christmas parties, to enhance resident engagement.

Requirements & Key Qualifications
Candidates should demonstrate:
- A genuine passion for food and prior experience working in a kitchen.
- A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (essential).
- Autonomous commitment to high standards of cleanliness and residential care.
- A friendly, person-centred attitude with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
