We’re looking for a passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team and help make health happen by preparing exceptional meals that bring comfort, joy, and nourishment to our residents.
Your Key Responsibilities
You’ll act as the bridge between our kitchen and our residents, contributing to their well-being through exceptional food service. Your role includes:

- Assisting chefs to plate meals
- Preparing and organizing food trolleys

Maintaining standards and safety
- Ensuring preparation areas remain clean, tidy, and hygienic
- Monitoring stock rotation
- Following all mandatory COSHH, HACCP, and workplace safety guidelines

Catering for special occasions and events
- Supporting with preparatory work for summer BBQs, Christmas parties, and other resident milestones

What We Look for in You
We’re on the hunt for someone who:
✔️ Has a deep passion for food and previous experience working in a kitchen ✔️ Holds (or be prepared to obtain) a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate ✔️ Understands the importance of high standards—both in food quality and in resident care ✔️ Is comfortable working collaboratively with chefs, care teams, and fellow staff ✔️ Cherishes those little moments—recognizing how food can brighten a resident’s day ✔️ Is flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
