Customer Service Assistant (Kitchen Assistant)
£12.83 per hour (up to £13.33/hour for shift-leading opportunities with training)

About the Role
Pret A Manger’s moto team is seeking energetic, friendly, and hands-on individuals to join us in redefining UK rest stop experiences through freshly made food, organic coffee, and customer-focused service.
Kickstart your career with us—or step up to lead a shift as soon as possible (rewarded at £13.33/hour), with all necessary training provided.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Customer Service Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in connecting fresh produce to happy customers. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering a warm, welcoming experience for every customer
- Processing in-store production efficiently each day to meet demand
- Prepping and serving a wide range of food—including hot meals, salads, baguettes, and baked goods
- Maintaining brand quality standards for consistency and excellence
- Replenishing displays to ensure maximum product availability
- Keeping the workspace and store clean, tidy, and organised
- Collaborating with teammates to foster a supportive, teamwork-driven culture
- Supporting kitchen pre-p for the next shift to ensure smooth operations
