We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join the team at Moat House, our award-winning luxury residential and dementia care home in the beautiful Burbage Conservation Area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen, takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene, and wants to play an important role in enhancing our residents' daily lives.
About the role
Working alongside our talented kitchen team, you'll help prepare and serve nutritious, home-cooked meals, ensure the kitchen is clean, safe and well organised, and support the smooth running of the catering service. Every meal is an opportunity to bring comfort, enjoyment and dignity to our residents, making this a rewarding role where your contribution really matters.

- Pay up to £12.85 Hour
- Shift Times 11:00 - 18:00

What we are looking for

- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)
- Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
- Knowledge of basic food preparation, stock control and rotation
- Positive and caring attitude (essential)
